AFL!

In Melbourne I went to my first rugby game. Not exactly rugby, it was an Australian Football League game. It is similar to rugby but different and called Footy. But it was intense non the less. Lots of large grown men fighting over a ball and running around. The stadium was big and by the end of the game the guys in front of us managed to teach us some of the rules after laughing at us for not knowing anything (including what sport we were watching). Footy is a big part of culture here, lots of people are avid supporters of their teams much the same as we are with football and hockey.

I didn't realize the fields were round, it makes a lot of sense because then there is non of that getting caught in the corner crap.

The city was very nice looking at night! Beautiful!
